Try Your Hand At These Rock Band Compositions
I never understood those who were addicted to games, until Rock Band came out. Now I too am an addict and sit glued to the TV for hours, playing the songs again and again striving to achieve perfection.
I want to master them at every level as well as on every instrument. This gives me the potential of thousands of hours of game play and a whole lot of fun.
Here are some of the best songs, in my opinion, that are on Rock Band. Grab yourself a copy if you haven’t one already, and become a musician in your own room with a great array of tunes and instruments.
The first song I played was say it ain’t so by Weezer. This is the first song they recommend you try out and it’s a great first song to start off with as you’ll find your way with it really quickly.
It teaches you how to use the instruments and you’ll be singing along whether you’re a singer or a musician. You’ll also find that its such a great song you’ll keep coming back to it.
Another of my favorites is the 1990’s classic by Radiohead; Creep. There is an easy version at the beginning and a harder one later on. They’re both great fun as it’s a brilliant song. You will enjoy this film whatever instrument you’re on.
For me, the whole point of any type of gaming, Rock Band included, is to better yourself by taking on and overcoming challenges. As far as Rock Band, that challenge is the song Green Grass and High Tides. Don’t even try it until you have got a good grasp of the game.
It is the hardest song by far on Rock Band and the solos have to be seen to be believed. You have to pretty damn good before even attempting this song on the expert level and I hope you’re fit as completing this song is akin to a hard workout in the gym.
