People like to throw around the phrase “pushing your boundaries”, but extreme skydiving actually delivers on this promise. Truly, no sport can give the same kind of adrenaline rush as jumping out of a plane into free fall at ten, thirteen, even as high as eighteen thousand feet above ground!

After you have been mentally and physically psyched for jumping out the plane there is also the technique of keeping your body in the correct position and precisely direct your fall towards a predetermined landing area. Then the chute would open and hopefully land you safely on the big red X.

Obviously, you can’t just jump out of a plane completely unprepared. Skydiving lessons are a necessity, not just a good idea. There is of course a small degree of danger associated with extreme sky diving, so lessons are an absolute must. Skydiving certification can be obtained relatively quickly, depending on the particular skydiving instructors and methodology used. Sometimes you can become certified in as little as two days.

The knowledge you will gain from these highly trained expert instructors will be invaluable. If you are not sure of something ask questions. There are several key hand signals that are of vital importance for communicating with your comrades while sailing freely through the air. You could easily send the wrong message if you have not listened carefully in class.

Many well trained skydivers have suffered fatal accidents. It is necessary to have a healthy respect for the particular extreme sport you are involved in. Jumping out of a plane at an extreme altitude is nothing to take lightly.

Be sure that you are well prepared and have the gained enough knowledge and are properly equipped before jumping.

The equipment used is as important as the classes you have taken. Your survival will be determined on the parachute as well as the operator.

Finding a well trained instructor, quality gear and experienced pilot are all key to a successful jump. Check references, read resumes, and test the gear and all your landings will be happy landings.
