Ford Mustangs Are Selling Better Than Our Donuts

Jon Najjar and Robert Eggert were the key persons of the success of Ford Mustang Cars. It was often quoted that the Mustang “sold faster than donuts”. The Ford Mustang family had the combined features of Ford Falcon and Thunderbird models. Mustang reached fame for its unique pony style. However, the company received criticism from fans due to larger and heavier models after the first release.

After the introduction of its first release in April 17, 1964, Mustang had a new look when Larry Shinoda joined the company. His venture to Ford Company gave way to Sports Roof Mustang models that has three-tail lamps for better rear view vision. In the decade of the 1970’s, Ford created heavier and bigger version of Mustang autos. It uses Knudsen design having Torino or Fairline sheet metal. Unfortunately, this model didn’t last long in the market because most customers preferred fuel miles per gallon gasoline saving cars. On the other hand, Mustang 351 Cleveland was the most popular car during this year due to its special features like hidden shield wrappers, bolt-on faade, wraparound instrumentation, and incredible engine.

After joining Ford Company, Larry Shinoda and other GM Engineers conceptualized Mustang’s next model. Sports Roof has an amazing sporty design but cheaper in cost. This model used three-element tail-lamps for enhance vision while on the road specifically at the rear. The next mustang produced during the 1970’s was heavier and larger. It uses Torino / Fairline sheetmetal foundation base on Knudsen’s plan. However, it didn’t stay long in the market because there was more demand in safety and fuel economy cars. Ford produced amazing models like Boss 351, 429 Cobra Jet and 351 Cleveland. However, 351 C became more prominent due to its hidden wind shield wipers, wraparound instrumentation, modular bolt-in dash board, bolt-on facade, and amazing engine.

King Cobra was the enhanced model of Mustang II. It didn’t become more popular than its origin because Ford immediately introduced the 1979 models with Fox platform. The interior can accommodate four people at the rear sit, bigger trunk, as well as the engine. In addition, it was used in the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car which result Ford to produce another 10,000 replicas.

After 15 years of numerous researches on customer needs, Ford developed well performing four wheel cars. Ford redesigned Fox-4 platform into more heavier and underpowered model. In 1996, Ford enhance Mustang’s feature like high-end 4.6L SOHC and DOHC V-8s in the GT and SVT Cobra. Ford based the design of the 2005 SN197 on McPherson and Jaguar platform with three-link rear suspension and axle. This model was the first safest Mustang car produced. Finally, Mustang will soon surprise fanatics at auto-shows this year 2010. Fans will surely enjoy and love the modern Mustang generation.

Learning to Sing with Beatles Rock Band

If you’re anything like I am then you don’t spend time playing video games. Personally, I’m not into them at all. In my opinon they are a complete waste of time. So why am I spending my time writing about this video game? Because to me The Beatles Rock Band (and to a lesser extent the other Rock Band games) is something well beyond just a game, it is a real interactive musical experience.

I’m not talking about the guitar part of the game. I actually think the guitar part of the game is really lame because it has next to nothing to do with playing a real guitar and very little to do with the music. It has zilch to do with playing guitar because playing real guitar is about 1000 times more complex than simply pressing a few buttons and it has little to do with the songs because I have found that the changes in the game rarely change in time with any musical changes in the songs.

The drumming and the singing parts of the game are what I find really interesting and important. Both of these parts of the game have a direct relationship to really doing these things “in real life” and they are also both obviously related to the music that you’re performing

If you sing the song in tune and with the right timing then you’ll do well. It’s true that you do not have to sing the lyrics (you can just hum) but I don’t think that’s a big deal. What is essential is the timing and hitting the right notes. I think Beatles Rock Band Video Game is actually an excellent to improve your singing ability. More so than the other rock band games because it also includes harmonies.

When you do the drumming on the expert level you are really hitting every single drum hit that’s in the real recording! No, it’s not exactly like playing a real drum set, but it is close enough to be pretty effective for practicing. There have even been cases of people moving directly from Rock Band drums into playing a real drum set with barely a hitch in the transition.

I definitely recommend The Beatles Rock Band Video Game an excellent gift for any big Beatles lover along with (obviously) The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set and The Beatles Mono Box Set.

Harold Kenneth Quesenberry’s Favorite Music Blog includes a lot of articles on The Beatles.

The Remastered Beatles

It is hard for me to believe that 2009 has definitely been really huge for the classic’60s band The Beatles OK, and MJ had a big year too With the long awaited release of the remastered versions of their music on CD and in mp3 (on The Beatles USB) many Beatles fans dreams have come true this year.

The Beatles Stereo Box Set

2009’s most popular Beatles release has been this awesome box set. It’s been an enormous seller and for good reason. It contains their complete ‘62-’70 discography in brilliantly digitally remastered stereo. It sounds absolutely brilliant (these CDs are definitely far superior to the old Beatles discs you likely own now.)

The really big improvement in comparison to the old CDs can be heard in the way McCartney’s bass guitar blasts through the mix like never before and Ringo’s drums sound far better too. It’s also great to be able to hear each individual vocal part more clearly which we can do with these new remasters.

The Beatles Mono Box Set

The release that has created the most excitement of really big Beatles fans is probably The Beatles in Mono Box Set because it’s the first time that the original mono mixes have ever been released on CD.

Many “purist” Beatles fans feel strongly that these mono mixes were really the way the band’s music was meant to be listened to and these “mono purists” have good reason for believing that. Mono was what most Beatles fans listened to in the ’60s and it was the mono mixes that the band and it’s producers spent the most time perfecting. Meanwhile, the band spent almost no time working on the stereo mixes up until The White Album.

The Beatles Stereo USB Stick

This USB memory stick is basically a digital version of The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set. It includes both high quality mp3 files and audiophile “better than CD” 24bit FLAC files. Along with the obvious audio component, this Apple USB stick also contains all of the visual elements from the stereo box set such as the- mini documentaries, the extended liner notes for each album, and the unpublished photographs.

The Beatles USB memory stick is compatible with both Mac and Windows computers. The mp3s that it includes should work with no hiccups with any mp3 player (whether you own a Zune, an iPod, or a lesser known mp3 player.)

The Beatles in Mono Box Set has been the most coveted of these new remastered Beatles box sets by hardcore Beatles fans. But they really want both of them along with The Beatles Rock Band Game.
